MedComNet 2025 (in collaboration with IEEE ComSoc Young Professionals (YP)) offers two Travel Grants (for a total amount of 1500 USD) to share among two authors who registered and co-authored an accepted paper, on a competition basis. Each award is subject to travel reimbursement.
Applicant Eligibility:
- The author applicant must be a member of the IEEE Communications Society.
- The author applicant must be a member of the IEEE Young Professionals.
- The author applicant must be a co-author of an accepted paper in MedComNet 2025 (priority will be given to presenting authors).
- During the expense reimbursement stage, the author applicant must show proof of having registered to attend the MedComNet 2025 conference.
More details will be provided to the authors who are selected to receive a travel grant.
We encourage participation from underrepresented groups and diverse institutions across all geographical regions. Women, minorities, beginning graduate students, and first-time conference attendees, are especially encouraged to apply. Authors from under-represented countries in the conference will be given priority.

- IEEE ComSoc Membership Number. Applicants must be current IEEE Members of the IEEE Communications Society at the time they apply for the grant.
- Author’s up-to-date CV / Resume. This document should include citizenship and study level (undergraduate or graduate); the document may include ethnicity and gender (optional).
- Author Statement Letter. A half to one-page letter from the author should include the following information: (1) A brief summary of research interests and accomplishments to date (authors should demonstrate a serious interest in networking, through their coursework and projects). (2) A statement on the purpose of attending the conference.
